The WordPress media library doesn't allow you to categorize attachments/images in any way besides the upload date. For this reason, in our framework, we have introduced a feature called "Media Tags". Media Tags work exactly like regular "Tags" do for posts: each image can be assigned one or more tags which can then be used to group similar/related images.The media library admin page has been expanded to allow easy media tags management and image filter by tag.
