The WooCommerce plugin ships with lots of custom sidebar widgets which you can use to help customers browse your products. You can see these widgets in the Appearance>Widgets section of the WP admin. You can display these widgets in your shop page's sidebar. To do this follow these instructions:
Go to the theme options "Widget Areas" tab, Appearance>Theme Options>Widget Areas.
Now create a new widget area, which will only be used in your shop page. Name it "shop"
Next go to the widgets section of the Wp admin. Appearance>Widgets.
Here you will see your new widget area/sidebar on the right hand side. You can now drag your required widgets into this new widget area as normal.
Next open the shop page and in the "Sidebar" control on the right hand side, select the "shop" widget area you created earlier, as the sidebar for this page. And that's it. Publish the page.
